So here I will explain to you the meaning of testimonials with examples and also how testimonials are different from review and feedback.

Long Essay on Testimonial

Testimonial is indirectly known as a person. A person writing about the product and services which he or she is using and is fully satisfied. How that product and services changed his or her life in person. So his words regarding the product or services are known as testimonial. Testimonial is basically a company asking their customer to write about their products and later those testimonials are posted on their websites for future reference.

Testimonials are basically customer oriented words.

For example: if I am running a company and I keep on posting my own good words regarding my own product, it is not counted as testimonials. Only the person who has been a customer for a very long and using the services of my products and if he or she writes anything about my company’s product and my services are known as testimonials.

Now let me give some of the examples of testimonials as per my experience during covid times.

As we all know, for more than a year now, because of covid everyone was stuck at home. We couldn’t go to school, we couldn’t go for any classes, we couldn’t do anything that we like to do.

So once things got very bad during covid times the government shut every school and offices and even playgrounds. But we had to keep going, keep studying and keep learning new things online.

So I registered myself on one online learning application with the help of my dad. While registering, my dad started reading something and when I asked him he explained to me he is reading testimonials about the courses and experience of students while using this online learning app. Students who are using this app have written some good things about the application and after reading a few comments we registered and enrolled in the application. I have been using this learning app for almost a year now and I am happy that I can write some good things about this app. So here is what I have given my testimonial.

“I am very happy with this application and the courses they provide are very informative. And the best part about this application is that they also have some online live sessions with the best teachers, and they also have very informative videos of every subject and courses. And I have learned so much. I am giving a thumbs up to this application and i would refer my relative’s kids also to use thing app for better learning”

In the same way, apart from studying I had a big interest in learning music. So in the same way I downloaded an online music learning app and that too helped me a lot. My hobby was to play guitar and I always wanted to learn. These apps too helped me learn guitar during this covid times. So I was asked to share my testimonials about the teacher who taught me guitar and some words regarding this application so I have given my testimonials.

So in recent days people usually read at least 10 testimonials before trusting a brand or business. They read a lot before buying any product or services online. If an old user or customer writes some good stuff about the business, the new customer will never give it a second thought and immediately enrol for it. Testimonial is basically an amazing and creative way of approaching or targeting new customers with the help of testimonials by old customers.
